Since 1988 Our Little Roses Ministries has become an oasis of hope and opportunity for the plight of abused and abandoned girls in Honduras. Hoping to continue this life-changing work, Padre Spencer Reece recently received a Fulbright Fellowship for a project to transform the lives of these girls through creativity and self-expression. The girls will learn poetry and painting and create a book with their poems in Spanish and English and their watercolors.

Conocí al Padre Spencer Reece, gran poeta americano, en la presentación de mi poemario "Gata en tránsito" en Donostia hace dos semanas. Fue todo un honor contar con su presencia entre el público y ahora me ha enviado su proyecto para Honduras del año próximo. Su intención es crear un centro donde enseñar pintura y poesía a las niñas abandonadas, víctimas de abusos. Creo que cualquier apoyo a esta causa puede ser importante.
