PhD in Translation and Interpretation by Las Palmas de Gran Canaria University
(Canary Islands, Spain). She has worked in management and cultural journalism,
sociology, radio, poetry, essay, story, translation. She has directed
intercultural literary projects with women's voices in storybooks, for
instance: Que suenen las olas (women who write in the Canary Islands and
Morocco), Desvelos (various stories based on the experience of eigth women of
different cultures who lived in shelters for battered women in Gran Canaria)
and Alar de Rosas (a collection of prose stories by Spanish writers on the
value of childhood friendship). She has published the books Mi Playa de las
Canteras, Juego astral, Revuelto de isleñas, Sobre el andén, Gata en tránsito
(poems prologued by the renowned Spanish poet J. M. Caballero Bonald), Campos
Elíseos, En la ciudad sin puertas, DeLirium y El oro de Serendip (at present in
french version: L’Or de Serendip). She has participated in several Spanish
anthologies: Orillas Ajenas, Hilvanes, Fricciones, Ecos II, Doble o nada,
Espirales Poéticas, Madrid en los Poetas Canarios, París, Mujeres en la
Historia I-II-III-IV, Casa de fieras, Pilpil y mojo, Sexo Robótico, 2120.
